Turquoise is one of the oldest recorded gemstones use in human history. It has been prized and traded by Native Americans and most other cultures around the world. Kingman Turquoise was first mined by ancient Anasazi Indians over 1500 years ago. This turquoise is from the last Kingman turquoise mine in the U.S. 

Turquoise is relatively soft. It is safe to clean turquoise jewelry with warm, soapy water but it should never be cleaned with steam or ultrasonic or chemical cleaners. Polish the sterling with a jewelry polishing cloth.
